Made from natural tree trunks. The floor is attached to the bottom of a hollow trunk with its bark intact. A roof of the same material is fixed on top.
Some birds will prefer this arrangement to an “artificial” nest box.
This nesting aid can provide better protection from predators for the brood than other shelters. It hangs rather inconspicuously on a tree and the bark blends in with the environment.
