Description
The Buddy Mk2 Digital Egg Monitor is the second version of this product and can be used for all types of egg monitoring, but was specifically designed for thick-shelled species such as falcons and eagles. It features LEDs attached to the sensor pad, allowing for faster heart rate detection.
This product can be used for all birds of prey eggs, parrot eggs and most other eggs, including reptile eggs.

There is absolutely no heat radiation, so Buddy is completely safe. If your egg is fertilized, Buddy will let you know around the seventh or eighth day. Simply place your egg in the egg compartment, close the lid, and press the “on” button. You’ll immediately get information from the built-in screen, including a flashing heart, a pulse indicator, and a three-digit heart rate display. (You’ll be amazed at how fast a chick’s heart beats!) If the chick moves, the Buddy Egg Monitor will show you. Once the chick has calmed down, the display switches back to the heart rate. If the chick is not alive, Buddy will display a black, stationary heart, a flat pulse line, and no heart rate indicator. Buddy is battery-operated, so you can take him with you into your aviary to check for eggs. If you work in conservation, you can take Buddy anywhere, even to the highest trees in the rainforest!
